THE PROJECT
Reindustrialization of the production process for the “Expert” series of electrical panels
Pego Srl has launched a strategic innovation and experimental development project aimed at the complete reindustrialization of its production process for the Expert series of electrical panels. The initiative integrates advanced automation, digitalization, and industrial intelligence technologies to enhance the quality, efficiency, and competitiveness of the product in domestic and international markets.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
  • Automation and Digitalization of the Production Cycle
    Introduction of automated systems and digital manufacturing solutions for the production of the Expert line, reducing cycle times and improving quality consistency.
  • Industrial Research and Experimental Development
    Conducting applied research in collaboration with the knowledge system to develop new technological solutions integrated into products and processes.
  • Enhancing corporate competitiveness
    Expanding production capacity and improving the quality of the finished product in response to the growing demand for high-performance electrical panels in the industrial sector.
  • Sustainability and reduction of environmental impact
    Optimization of energy and material use in the production process, in line with the green objectives of the PNRR.
  • Development of Human Capital
    Training of technical and operational staff in the adoption of newly introduced technologies, promoting upskilling and the transfer of advanced skills.

MADE Competence Center – Call for Project Proposals

The project was selected as part of the Call for proposals for innovation, industrial research, and experimental development projects managed by MADE – Competence Center for Industry 4.0, the national competence center that supports companies in their digital and technological transformation.

Funding is provided under Mission 4 – Education and Research, Component 2 – From Research to Business, Investment 2.3 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
